Recap: I arrived and started my Internship on July 23, I arrived super hyped and super nervous. I immediately was welcomed by the Shining faces of the leaders who would be running the Internship this track. Today marks two weeks in the internship, I haven't been able to post frequently because I am busy all the time. And my only free days are Thursday.
At this internship they spilt everyone into groups of around 7 each group has a House Leader (Lives with us and is our main leader) and then Core Leader (Who oversees the House Leader and runs our meetings), they place us in these group based off age, my group is one of the youngest groups *in which I am still the youngest in the entire internship. My group mostly consists of 18 and 19 year olds. They are probably the most amazing group of guys I have met, including my House and Core leaders. The friendships I have made here in the last week will literally last a lifetime, I have no doubt. There's something about all wanting to seek God that just unifies us in such a way that I can't really put into words.
My classes have literally been on FIRE they have taught me so much. I'd love to write for days on days about all my classes but its hard since I take two classes pretty much everyday. Overview of them is that I am getting closer to God in a way I thought would never be possible. Realizing that we all are seeking the same thing, a closer relationship to the Father who never will stop loving us. I have a Fire going in my heart and it's only been week two. After classes we have prayer room and that can range depending on the day can range from 6 to 8 hours in the prayer room. In this time period, were given Homework (Meditating on a verse from the bible, reading our bible, which we have to read 50 chapters a week, and also reading the books based of the curriculum) so that we can focus and also we are welcomed to engage into worship and prayer. All these things pretty much sum up everything I'v been doing here. And will continue to do. As I keep blogging I'll post more specifics, on classes and etc...
I love everyone and miss everyone back home.
